Three Cord Ministries, Inc. exists to serve others through an array of services designed to establish an atmosphere filled with possibilities in an environment that nurtures development and growth. It serves as a conduit within the Christian community through which opportunities are realized and visions fulfilled, while reaching out to those who don't yet know Jesus Christ.
It began as a bookstore and its initial purpose was to distribute Christian books, CDs, and DVDs at a fixed location in Libertyville, Illinois and at Christian conferences in the Chicago metropolitan area. It was incorporated as an Illinois, Not-for-Profit Corporation in 2001 and is recognized as a 501(c) 3 organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
Maturity has brought an expansion far beyond the distribution of Christian materials. Three Cord currently functions as an umbrella organization providing funding and support for multiple ministries - all directed toward enhancing the community and spreading the Good News.
